Animals

Kona found something from the balcony.

What’s that!?

It looks like a boar…but it’s not... If it’s not a boar, what is it?

A raccoon? A bear? Or what?

One…

two… there are two!

Wh-wh-wh-what are they?

My Birthday

Yesterday was my birthday.

The night before my birthday,

Scott invited our close friends to a surprise party for me. I was SO happy.

That day,

Lupita said “Happy birthday!”
“Thanks, Lupita.”

Scott gave me a set of golf clubs featuring the latest technology as a birthday present. That was exactly what I wanted!

Lupikona being healthy and around me today as always is the best present from Lupikona.

“Stay with me forever. Hug!”

I have good friends and family. How lucky I am!

Many many thanks…

Did You Behave?

When Scott got home, he asked Lupikona…

“I heard Yumi’s friend visited you today. Did you behave?”

Kona

“Yes! I managed not to jump at her! I also kept quiet.”

Lupita

“I barked at Yumi’s friend……. I’m sorry…”

WBC Final

Today is the day of the finals of the World Baseball Classic.

“I support Samurai Japan!”

Lupita was wearing a Japan cap while watching the game.

Watching the game intently.

The score was 3-3 in the top of the 10th. Japan was at bat.

“Go, Ichiro!”

Ichiro hit a two-run RBI single! Japan leads 5-3.

“Come on, Darvish!”

Two outs in the bottom of the 10th. It was so thrilling!

Kona couldn’t sit still anymore. She got up and watched the game with me.

“Yes! Japan won!!”

Congrats on Japan’s second straight Classic!

The Park

We went to a nearby park for an afternoon walk.

Nobody’s here—not even the cows!

Yipeee!

Lupikona ran…

in full stride.

That was…

really fun!

Up Here!

I called Kona from the third floor balcony.

At first, she didn’t realize where my voice was coming from and looked this way and that.

When I called her again, she found me.

the cow family was there--including the calf we saw the other day.

La!

The calf was leaning its chin on the cow.

“Hi, can you play with me?”
“Moo, if you insist…

…ok, ok, I’m getting up.”

Let’s play!

Get beefy!

That’s cute.

Let’s play too!

Later that day we saw the calf again.

Where did we see it?

The ticking sound on video is my hazard flasher. The whining in the background is Lupikona.

Watch out for cows and drive safely in Lupikona district!
