To the Trail From the Pier

In the drizzle, Lupikona were ready for a photo shoot at the end of the little pier.

Then it stopped raining, and we walked on the hiking trail.

Lupita and…

Kona walked in a good mood.

This is Mussaenda parviflora I saw on the trail.

Unwelcome Favor

The other night we dined out.

I was happy to take Lupikona with us.

But for Lupikona who were just waiting for us…

that may be an unwelcome favor.

Cow Habitat Suburb

A night walk. Behind Scott and Kona…

there was a wild cow family.

When we drive in our neighborhood, we have to pay attention to crossing cows.

Hey Calfy, watch out for cars.

Our house is in the countryside, which is a habitat for wild cows.

Doormat

One of Lupita’s favorite spots is…

the doormat.

Sitting on the doormat…

makes her feel…

sleepy.

Kona came to sit by Lupita and…

fell asleep too.

It was a peaceful morning.

Erythrina×bidwillii Flowers

When I moved, I decided to become an early riser to walk the dogs.

Twice in the morning, I walk Lupita and Kona one at a time.

Vivid red flowers from a walk with Kona.

It’s probably Erythrina×bidwillii.

Siesta

When Lupikona got hot after sitting outside under the sun, they came inside and slept on the cool floor.

Explore with Scott

I came down with fatigue from moving. Scott took Lupikona to explore our new neighborhood for me. (The pictures below taken by Scott)

"We found a river."

It was summery hot day today. But…

no matter how hot it is, Lupikona will not swim in the river.

Morning Before a Long Day at Home

Today is Good Friday.

Scott and I needed to be out of the house all day. Lupikona had to stay home all day without us.

We woke up early and took Lupikona to the forest before we left.

Oops!

Kona jumped down into the muddy swamp!

Oh my God!

Kona made us work a little harder than usual to clean her muddy legs. However, even though we were late for our outing, it was hard to be angry with her cute expression and wagging tail.

Is Dinner Ready?

Even at our new home…

Lupita rests her chin on the doggie table.

"Is dinner ready yet?"

A New Trail

Lupikona have dog friends in our new neighborhood.

Yesterday morning we walked the dogs with friends from our new neighborhood.

Scott got a half-day off, so he also came with us. We walked along a road leading to…

a nice trail where the morning light fell through the trees.

Kona and Sweetie started running.

Lupita and Sweetie ran pleasantly.

"Hey Kona, let’s play!"

Kona got into a submissive position.

Everyone had big smiles!

There were…

five black dogs and…

two older dogs walking together.

We like the new walking course and enjoyed the walk a lot. I hope it helped Lupikona relieve a little stress from moving.

We Have Moved

We moved on Sunday.

We still have lots of things to sort out in our new house. Even though Lupikona haven’t settled themselves in the house yet, they found a place where they feel secure.

They are in the dog crate.

Lupita was reluctant to go into the crate at our previous home. But now she likes going into the crate voluntarily. They comfortably sleep there all night.

Bye Bye, Beach

We have had a lot of fun at this beach.

We’ll say goodbye to the beach tomorrow. We will miss it.

Kona dug a hole one last time.

Lupita perched quietly on her favorite rock.

We are moving tomorrow.

A White Dot

"Hey Lupita, let me see your nose."
"Okay."

"Oh! What is that small white dot on your nose?"

"Aha, it’s a scar from a fight with Kona, isn’t it, Lupita?"

"F…f…fight? Who? Me? Nah, I didn’t do that…"
