The Bracelet

Sniff, sniff.

Sniff, sniff.

Lupikona was sniffing a hand-made bracelet made by one of LUPIKONA’s readers, Ms. R in Japan.

It is a Hawaiian Lauhala weaving using the dried leaves of a screw pine.

When Ms. R visited Hong Kong last month, she went to the beach I introduced on my blog previously to pick screw pine leaves. She used the screw pine leaves to weave the bracelet and sent it to me.

It has Lupita’s name and...

Kona’s name weaved in it.

Does it look good on Lupita’s arm?

Or on Kona’s head?

No, no. This is my bracelet. Let me reshoot.

Does it look good on me?

Does it still look good on me?

Ms.R, thank you so much for the very special present!
