Visiting My Parents

I visited my parents with Lupikona.

"Hello, Yumi’s father."
"Hi, Lupita. Welcome!"

"Hello, Yumi’s mother. How are you?"
"Hi, Kona. Welcome!"

Treats time.

Nap time.

Family time. We enjoyed each other’s company.

This Morning

Lupikona and I walked Scott to the station.

The Camellias along the street are in bloom.

We saw off Scott at the station.

Have a good day! Lupikona were staring after Scott until he vanished from sight.

Running Around in the Snow

This video was taken after the snowfall last week.

You can see how happily Kona ran around in the snow, just like the dog happily running around the snowy garden in the Japanese children’s song, “Yuki ya Konko”.

Sunny but Chilly

It was sunny but the temperature stayed low. It was a very cold day.

The snow on the field still hasn’t melted yet.

We could see Mt. Fuji perfectly. Even though the weather was cold, it was worth coming down here.

Third Day Playing in the Snow

The snow on the roads has almost melted away, but...

the fields are still covered in snow!

Lupikona have gotten used to the snow.

They played thoroughly delighted.

Lupikona have become fond of snow, haven’t they?

Snowy Field

I took Lupikona to the field again.

I thought it might be getting muddy, but...

the snow hasn’t melted yet. It was still blanketed by snow.

Lupita ran and...

ran.

Running around in the snow is...

a lot of fun!

Lupikona are fully enjoying their first winter in Japan.

The Morning after the Heavy Snow

The field was pure white.

Crunch, crunch, crunch. Lupikona left their paw-prints in the snow.

It made the dogs feel bouncy. Both Kona and...

Lupita started running around.

Yippee!

Yippee!

I never expected Lupita to smile in the snow. I was impressed at how she enjoyed running in the snow.

That was so much fun!

First Snow

This morning...

Lupita saw snow for the first time in her life.

Kona was walking around in our yard. Lupita insisted on staying inside the house.

Kona turned into a white spotted dog.

Brrr...

In the afternoon...

I took Lupikona for their first walk in the snow.

We got to the snow-covered park. Kona walked into it
as usual. Lupita seemed to want to go home.

BRRRR!
