November…

11th is…

“A pair of socks day”

Oh well, they say that in Japan.

I didn’t know that!

Shimoda Photo Album: Café

Moments to remember from our Shimoda trip last weekend #3 – Café and Restaurant

Après surf lunch in a café at Kisami Ohama.

After hydrangea viewing, we stopped for lunch…

at an old folk house restaurant on Perry Road in Shimoda town.

We had a coffee break at this cafe. They served a teddy bear cappuccino…

and a Snoopy cappuccino for us.

Since we came all the way to Shimoda, we went to a local seafood restaurant. Lupikona fell asleep on tatami after having a fun-filled day.

Shimoda Photo Album: Hydrangea

Moments to remember from our Shimoda trip last weekend #2 – Hydrangea

When we visited Shimoda Park, the hydrangeas were at their peak.

There are about 150 thousand Hydrangea trees that bloom 3 million flowers. I felt as if I was in a magnificent colorful maze.

We enjoyed walking on the paths surrounded by hydrangeas.

They are really beautiful, aren’t they?

Yes, they are!
