Wild Radish Maze

Kona was playing in the radish maze.

Should I go this way?

Or should I go that way?

Pitter-patter, pitter-patter…

I found a way out!

Three Dogs Walking

I walked the three dogs.

Lily walked sometimes beside Lupita and…

sometimes beside Kona.

“Hi Lily!”

and Lily.

It was fun walking together!

Going to Adoption Day

I took Lupikona to a dog and cat adoption day in Futakotamagawa.

Maggie clung to her foster parent.

She participated the adoption day for the first time.

Maggie is overcoming fear and now she can walk outside without hunkering down and groveling. We are glad that she shows promising progress.

As for today’s Lupita, she showed less wariness and let my friend pet her.

Even though there are things that many dogs can do easily or naturally, some dogs cannot do such things. So Lupita’s little desirable behavior have really made my day.

I hope as many rescued dogs as possible find a good home soon.

Starbucks Twilight

In the evening, we took a one-hour walk to…

a Starbucks in the neighboring town.

Lupita was wishing…

we would go home soon.

“Finish your coffee quickly, please.”

In Our Garden - Tulips

The tulips are…

in full bloom.

I’m rather happy, because they didn’t grow well last year.

There are different kinds of tulips, red ones…

colorful ones..

and double-flowered ones. They are all pleasing to the eye.

Café after a Hospital Visit

Lupikona visited a new animal hospital for vaccination.

In the consultation room, a veterinary nurse carried Lupita in her arms down from the examination table. This is the first time someone other than Scott and I has held Lupita in one’s arms. Lupita didn’t resist or snap. It’s really something for her.

Well done!

We went to a café afterwards.

“Hey Scott…

Can I go home yet?”

Rain, Later, Chilly

On a wet morning. We saw Japanese wisteria in bloom.

The ground is strewn with cherry blossom petals fallen by rain. It’s cold as if winter came back.

Season of New Green Leaves

Good morning!

We started our morning walk on a Ginko tree lined street.

New fresh green leaves made us feel resfreshed.

Starbucks in the Neighboring Town

We walked all the way down to…

a Starbucks in the neighboring town.

I shared a coffee break…

with Lupikona.

“Well then, Yumi…

Can we leave yet? “
