Best Wishes for a Happy New Year

For our last walk in 2015, we walked on the beach during an orange sunset.

How did you like my blog this year? I hope you keep supporting us watching how Lupita and Kona are doing next year too.

Best wishes for a happy new year!

Imagination

Scott and Lupikona went away to our beach house. I had some errands to do, so I stayed in Tokyo by myself. Scott sent me some photos from today for me.

I feel refreshed just imagining to myself walking in such a beautiful place.

I feel happy just imagining myself sitting between Lupita and Kona.

How Many More Nights

When I see Lupita sleeping, it makes me feel like singing…

a Japanese children song “How many more nights do we have to sleep before New Year’s Day?”.

Tokyo Night

Can’t believe there are only 5 days left in 2015.

Everyone is busy at the end of the year. But I would never let my day end without walking Lupikona.

Jump, Jump, Jump

Lupita jumped off the sand dune…

jumped back to avoid a wave…

jumped at a stick…

and jumped up for joy when Scott took out the frisbee.

We reached the sea shortly before sunset.

Let’s skateboard…

It was fun!

Okay, let's go home before it gets dark.

Winter Harvest

I harvested the organic winter vegetables from my container garden with Lupikona.

Cauliflower,

swiss chard,

Japanese radish,

small carrots,

and hakusai cabbage.

The vegetables I have been tending look so good. I feel very happy with the harvest.

Baked Sweet Potatoes

One night in November…

Scott baked sweet potatoes in a wood stove.

These are Nasu-grown sweet potatoes from our last Nasu trip.

Yum! They were very sweet and tasty and Scott said that it was the best sweet potato he had ever had!
